In 1948, founder, Kay Parish, invested in a floundering, one room doll repair shop in Detroit, Michigan. With her purchase, Kay received hundreds of boxes of authentic late 19th Century and early 20th century doll parts. These parts, combined with professional doll restoration techniques have made it possible to tackle serious restorations of most older forms of dolls.
